Personal data

Which data is collected?  
PCM RAILONE AG, RAILONE GmbH and RAILONE Schwandorf GmbH collect data exclusively for information that is necessary for our application procedures.

If you apply for a position with us, you will be asked for certain personal information (name, address, e-mail). Position-related questions may also be asked. For an application with our company, it is also absolutely necessary for you to attach your occupational history.

Please note that your data is not stored in anonymized form, but is available to the HR department and the offices relevant to the position.

Application information
In your application, please make sure that the information that you provide is truthful. Please note that any false statement or omission may constitute grounds for a rejection or later dismissal.

PCM RAILONE AG, RAILONE GmbH and RAILONE Schwandorf GmbH are looking for the best applicants, irrespective of race, ethnic origin, gender, religion, beliefs, disability, age or sex identity. We do not require information from you that cannot be used pursuant to the Equal Treatment Act. Please also do not provide confidential internal information or information subject to trade and industrial secrecy to us regarding your former or current employer. Please also do not provide any unnecessary information as to: illnesses, pregnancy, ethnic origin, political beliefs, philosophical or religious convictions, membership in a trade union, physical or mental health, sex life, slanderous or defamatory information, or information that has nothing to do with the job profile.

Who processes the data?
The data we collect is processed exclusively internally or by contractually bound service providers. Personal data is forwarded only for specific purposes in connection with processing the commission pursuant to the data privacy regulations to operations that, for example, operate our servers or provide certain services. These operations are located in Germany and in the countries of the EU and are obligated contractually and under data protection instructions to handle personal data in accordance with data protection regulations. 

The data and files that you submit are processed and used exclusively for purposes of processing your application. If your application is successful, the data and files that you provide may be further processed and used in an employment relationship by our client for employment purposes. If the job application is unsuccessful and you have given your consent on our homepage for storing the data, PCM RAILONE AG, RAILONE GmbH and RAILONE Schwandorf GmbH will store the data and files submitted for six months, in order to be able to answer later questions regarding the application. At the end of six months the data and files will be deleted.

You may withdraw your application at any time. Withdrawing the application will result in your data and files being promptly deleted – with the limitations stated below. 

Furthermore, you may insist at any time in connection with your application that individual pieces of information or files that you have submitted are deleted by PCM RAILONE AG, RAILONE GmbH and RAILONE Schwandorf GmbH. We reserve the right, however, to store a limited amount of data for the limited period of six months in order to be able to comply with statutory provisions, in particular documentary proof requirements under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

With whom do we share your personal data?
The information that you provide us is treated confidentially and only shared with persons who are involved with a specific job application procedure. Your personal data is forwarded to other clients only in accordance with your separate, explicit consent.

Right to access, process and delete your CV
Of course, you have the right to have your data and documents deleted at any time. Contact us in this regard per e-mail at hr-pro(at)railone.com for applications submitted to PCM RAILONE AG and to RAILONE Schwandorf GmbH or at personal(at)railone.com for applications submitted to RAILONE GmbH.

Please understand that changes to or the deletion of data during an ongoing application procedure and for the period of six months after the conclusion of an ongoing application procedure is not possible for legal reasons.

 

Automatically collected non-personal data

When you visit our website, we store certain information for administration and technical reasons. These are: the name of the site visited, the browser and operation system used, the date and time of access, the search engine used, the name and IP address of downloaded files.

This data remains anonymous and it is used solely for statistical purposes and to improve our website and online services. This anonymous data is stored separately from personal data on secure systems and allows no inference on individual persons. This means that your personal details are protected at all times.

 

Publication of job advertisements / online applications

Your application data will be collected and processed electronically for the handling of the application procedure.
In case of conclusion of an employment contract your transmitted data will be stored in your personnel file for the purpose of the usual organizational- and administrational processes according to the applicable legal specifications.
If digital lists with applicant details are maintained for future staffing, your personal details will be deleted six months after the recruiting procedure had ended.
Incoming postal applications will be sent back completely after six months at the latest in case of refusal.
Your transmitted application will be deleted automatically after six month after application receipt in case of refusal. This does not apply if a longer storage is necessary due to legal requirements (e. g. the obligation of proof for the nondiscrimination precept) or if you agreed explicitly to a longer storage period in our staffing data base.

 

Cookies

If you visit our website, we might store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that are sent from an internet server to your browser and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Only the internet protocol address is stored in this process, and no personal data is involved.
